Nabu came into existence when the universe was created to balance order from chaos. His first adventures on Earth was in 1911 when he was tasked of balancing out the war efforts of The Great War. After he reported back to his bosses, they realized that he would have been better to be the balance of good rather than neutral, so they stripped his power but re granted him the power of good and gave the power of evil to another entity that would end up becoming Equinox. When he was tasked to clean up the humans mess when they started WWII he was recruited by a group of "metas" who would eventually become the Society. Years after the disbandment of their unit he became well known by the United Nations and became a consultant even producing a physical body to interact with the human world.
This character is or was a member of the Justice League of America, or the Justice League in any of its various incarnations, sworn by a duty to act as guardians of America and the world by using their skills and/or superpowers to protect Earth from both interstellar and domestic threats.
