Pyros is an Infernoite born on Holocaust, he met an alien Lantern named Bro'Dee Walker. Walker was the last Blue Lantern when he died his ring went to Pyros who was full of Hope. In 2055 he became the new Blue Lantern.

Infernoite Physiology: Any healthy Infernoite male or female possess the following powers:
Enhanced Intellect: They are born with enhanced mental performance, allowing their mind to process information quickly, giving them an accelerated learning aptitude. They have mastered various alien languages and customs with ease.
Enhanced Sense of Smell: An Infernoite has a superb sense of smell. They can track almost anything and anyone by their scent.
Pyrokinesis: An Infernoite has the ability to generate and manipulate intense heat and fire from their body. They can form fire into any shape that they wish to, commonly fireballs. They can enhance the fire in their hands for flaming punches and kicks. They are also capable of breathing intense and continuous wave of flames much like a flame-thrower. An Infernoite's fire can become hot enough to melt a tank, reduce trees to ashes, melt a road and burn organic beings. They can make their flames explosive, explaining why their fire tended to cause explosions on a regular basis. In fact, they can give off so much heat that, once an Infernoite evaporated an entire river. They can create a small fire board on which they can ride at high speeds by launching fire backwards like an engine.
Energy Resistance: Every Infernoite is essentially fireproof, as well as heat resistant and invulnerable to magma. Interestingly, they are also cold resistant and ice proof.
Pyrokinetic Radiation: They are capable of firing highly radioactive energy beams through their hands and eyes. The energy they radiate is hot enough to melt solid metal and rock even with the slightest contact. They can channel his heat underground, which results with the eruption of massive geysers of lava.
Size Alteration: Infernoites' recently demonstrated the ability to increase their size. With their size, their strength and durability increases proportionately.
Superhuman Strength: They have some superhuman strength, as they can rip off the roof of a car with ease. They can go toe to toe with several enhanced humans at once.
Superhuman Agility: They have enhanced agility that allows them to run, jump, as well as climb at a superhuman rate. Their bodily coordination and equilibrium is several times greater than that of the finest human athlete.
Superhuman Durability: Due to the natural density of their tissues, they are extremely durable to physical impacts. It has also been seen that they can survive in the vacuum of space for sometime. An Infernoite's durability allow them to withstand great impact forces, temperature and pressure extremes, powerful energy blasts, and falls from great heights without sustaining injury.
Solar Energy Absorption: Can absorb solar energy and can utilize it for physical strength. The cells of a normal human body convert energy from foodstuffs into a form of energy usable by the body. This energy is stored through converting molecules of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) in the cells into adenosine triphosphate (ATP); the energy is released when necessary by breaking a chemical bond in the ATP molecules, converting them back to ADP. Apparently Infernoites can store solar-derived energy in their cells through the same, or a similar method, and release it when necessary to enhance their physical strength. Their body is cloaked in darkness because they drain all the ambient light from their skin.
Solar Re-channeling: ability to re-channel the solar energy which their body absorbs, by which they take the solar energy and uses it for a variety of related purposes.
Flight: Infernoite are able to manipulate graviton particles, in an unknown and apparently unconscious manner, to defy the forces of gravity. Their control of their flight is very precise and they can perform aerobatic feats such as hovering, flying backwards and even lifting great weights while flying.
Dark Solar Plasma Blasts: They have the ability to project concussive dark plasma energy blasts from their hands, with about 50 tons of force behind them at their most powerful.
Augmented Strength: When an Infernoite cells are powered by solar energy they have the superhuman ability to augment their physical strength. While normally an Infernoite can lift up to 2 tons at their maximum capacity, by absorbing solar energy this can be increased to 50 tons.
Underwater Functioning: An Infernoite can swim at amazing and use their powers underwater, but with a very low intensity. They can stay underwater without damaging their body for extended periods of time.
Vulnerability to Cold: When under the effects of a cold, An Infernoite's body and flames turn to blue and giving them cryokinesis (ability to create and control ice). Despite these new powers, they work completely "unfunctional" to their fiery nature and the cold would still prejudice their health, so it's still technically a "weakness".
