After his evil twin Yulaw, escapes the Stygian penal colony in the Hades universe, Gabe is forced to hunt him down before Yulaw find him in his new universe, a universe similar to Gabe's past. This is how he ends up in the DC Universe with Yulaw.

He fail to kill the last version of himself Gabe Law, making Gabe's strength, speed, stamina, agility, and durability enhanced and equal to his own.
Life-Force Absorption: He and Yulaw both have the life energies of 123 versions of themselves.
