Lex Luthor was a businessman and philanthropist who lived in Metropolis. Despite his good nature and kind heart, he was the target of propagandists such as Lois Lane and Clark Kent. When Supraman first started to menace metropolis, Luthor discovered Kryptonite which weakened Supraman, but Supraman's ally Batman stole all of Luthor's Kryptonite. Occasionally, Luthor would find more, but it would never be enough. Later Luthor founded the Justice League with The Joker and Sinestro to keep the heroes in check. At some point, Luthor was elected president, a position he filled quite well.
