Conner Dalton also known as Shadow Bat is the main protagonist of an upcoming fan-fiction series. Apart from Damian Wayne he is the only known member of the Bat Family to possess meta-human abilities. Conner is the former ward of Nightwing (Dick Grayson) and a former ward of Batman (Bruce Wayne). Conner has entered the life of a hero much like most of his predecessors with the death of his parents. Conner initially blamed Dick for the deaths but eventually he discovered that Nightwing was innocent and joined him in the crusade to stop crime within Bludhaven.
ORIGINS:
Conner Dalton starts off as the child of the rich Dalton family on 14th January. They were the heads of the slightly smaller tech company which often worked in complication with Wayne Industries even though they are primarily based in Avalon City. In his later career Conner uses being C.E.O of the re-named Codex Industries as his cover while not working as Shadow Bat. Conner was a mere nine year old when his parents were murdered. Flames exploded everywhere and he swears he saw a streak of blue and black that night which is why he originally blamed Dick Grayson for the death of his parents. He spent several years hunting after Nightwing while training his skills in order to be able to face off against him in battle. After several heated battles with the first apprentice of Batman Conner finally accepted that maybe Dick wasn't behind the murders and the two had a lengthy conversation which led to Grayson taking the young man under his wing. Originally Conner wore a simple version of Dick's Nightwing suit in a smaller size and without an insignia on it simply referring to himself as Black Shadow. Together the two went up against many enemies in Bludhaven along, later called himself 'Shadow Bat.
