Secret origins

Peter Benjamin Parker was born in Metropolis to Star Labs scientists Richard and Mary Parker. A young Peter Parker was playing hide-and-seek when he discovered had the house had been broken into and the research of his parents had been stolen. Peter went to live with his uncle and aunt, Ben and May Parker, in Green Hills, Metropolis; they became Peter’s surrogate parents and raised him as if he were their own son.The couple later died in a plane crash, though Peter came to assume he had been abandoned because of the break-in. Over the next thirteen years, Parker grew to be extremely bright in science and became a high honors student at Midtown High School. Parker's shyness and scholastic interest often made him a social outcast and a target for bullies, primarily football star Flash Thompson, though he befriended Harry osborn, son of Lexcorp board member, Norman osborn, and he caught the eye of fellow classmate and crush, Gwen Stacy.

Becoming Spider-Man

Peter found his father's briefcase in his house basement, which revealed to him the plane crash that killed his parents, and that his father had worked for Star Labs with Dr. Curt Connors in cross-species genetics. He went to Star labs searching for Connors, and made his way in by pretending to be a member of the high-school interns. Gwen, who was the guide of the group and assistant to Connors, recognized Peter very quickly. She allowed Peter to stay, so long as he stayed out of trouble. Trying to find out more about his father's work, Peter snuck into a lab where genetically altered spiders were being held. One managed to escape and got onto peter’s hand before it bit him.

Making his way home afterwards, Peter was almost hit by a car; when Peter jumped out of the way, Peter discovered he had somehow gained incredible strength, agility, and the ability to cling to walls, spider-like traits that he immediately associated with the spider bite.

Frightened by his new abilities, he attempts to research spider bite symptoms, but was unable to find the spider that bit him, as it was a genetic mutation. He decides to visit Dr. Connors at his home, and reveals to him that he is Richard's son. After a short discussion, Peter gives Connors the equation to complete a limb regeneration formula, which he learned from studying his father's notes.

The next day, Peter humiliates Flash in the school gym, but gets in trouble when he accidentally breaks the backboard of the basketball hoop. Noting the athleticism and encountering an ad offering a cash prize for staying in the ring for three minutes with professional wrestler Joseph "Crusher" Hogan, Peter decided this would be a good way to test his powers. Wearing a mask to avoid potential embarrassment in case he lost the match, Peter easily defeated his opponent.

Following this, Peter failed to act to stop an escaping thief, claiming that it was not his responsibility to do so. Peter forgot the incident, but days later he returned home at night to find his Uncle Ben had been murdered.

Enraged, he begins a hunt for the thief, attacking anyone who looks similar to the thief. He eventually dons a mask to hide his identity from the crooks he attacks.

Learning the police had the burglar responsible holed up in a warehouse, Peter snuck over there easily captured him only to discover he was the same thief he had allowed to escape earlier. Filled with remorse, he realized that when someone has power, he has an obligation to use it responsibly. Confused about what to do he and aunt may are caught up in traffic which turns into chaos as they are in the midst of superman’s fight with metallo. When the army threatens to shoot superman, peter joins the crowd defending the man of steel before superman assures the people of metropolis of their worth. Inspired by this, peter then uses his responsibility to become a superhero.

when coming up with ideas for his superhero identity he came across designs for wrist mounted web shooters designed by Sharon Kane who was in reality the 40s era costumed hero, the spider queen. Taking the designs for the web shooters Peter perfected them and created a more streamlined and created a more versatile web fluid. Using these web shooters spider-man could swing around metropolis.

Skills

Powers

Superhuman Strength: Peter possesses the proportionate strength of a spider, enabling him to lift more than the weight of a car. There is footage of him stopping a car moving at 40 mph before hefting it aloft. He was also able to catch and support a collapsing jet bridge.

Superhuman Speed: Spider-Man can move at greater speeds than that of an ordinary human, making him adept at dodging attacks.

Superhuman Stamina: Spider-Man is able to exert himself much longer than normal humans, without tiring. Superhuman Agility: Spider-Man is exceptionally agile and fast, capable of swinging around on thin spider-webbing and jumping very high distances without difficulty.

Superhuman Reflexes: Spider-Man's reaction time and coordination is significantly enhanced. He is able to catch objects moving at high speeds without looking.

Superhuman Durability: Spider-Man possesses denser bones and muscle tissue, that allows him to survive great impacts. He was unaffected when he fell from the height of several stories. Spider-Man has endured punches from super soldiers without sustaining any lasting damage.

Superhuman Senses: Spider-Man describes his senses as "dialed up to eleven."

Superhuman Balance: Spider-Man's sense of balance is similar to most arachnid species, allowing him to perform acrobatic feats and gymnastics.

Superhuman Sight: Spider-Man's sense of sight is superhuman, as he was forced to restrict his eyesight with dark goggles to avoid it from handicapping him in a battle.

Spider-Sense: Spider-Man possesses an extrasensory "danger" or "spider" sense which warns him of potential immediate danger by the manifestation of a tingling sensation in the back of his skull, and links with his superhuman kinesthetics, enabling him to evade most any injuries, unless he cognitively overrides his automatic reflexes. The precise nature of this sense is unknown. It appears to be a simultaneous clairvoyant response to a wide variety of phenomena (everything from falling safes to speeding bullets to thrown punches), which has given several hundredths of a second warning, which is sufficient time for his reflexes to allow him to avoid injury. The sense also can create a general response on the order of several minutes: he cannot discern the nature of the threat by the sensation. He can, however, discern the severity of the danger by the strength of his response to it. Spider-Man's spider-sense is directional and can guide him to or away from hidden weapons and enemies. Sudden and extreme threats can cause his spider-sense to react with painful intensity. Spider-Man can also sense and dodge attacks directed randomly or by a computer. Using his spider-sense to time his enhanced reflexes, Spider-Man can casually dodge attacks up to and including automatic-weapons fire, provided there is sufficient distance. His spider-sense is sufficiently well-linked to his reflexes to the point that a threat can trigger them even when Spider-Man is asleep or stunned. His spider-sense has helped him preserve his secret identity since it alerts him to observers or cameras when changing into or out of his costume. The spider-sense does react to those who Peter does not consider to be a threat, such as Aunt May. Spider-Man can choose to ignore his spider-sense, and distraction or fatigue diminish its effectiveness. Spider-Man's fighting style incorporates the advantage that his "spider-sense" provides him. His body begins to produce more adrenaline after the sense is triggered, an extension of the 'fight or flight syndrome.'

Wall-Crawling: After being bitten, Peter's skin grows a sharp, "barbed" like material and this allows Peter to cling to surfaces. When asked about it by Robin, he stated that he doesn't use a mechanical device to achieve this. Regenerative Healing Factor: Spider-Man regenerates his injuries faster and more extensively than a normal human. After getting his powers, he soon found that his eyesight was repaired, discarding his glasses. Minor injuries heal in a matter of hours and serious injuries in a matter of days. Although Spider-Man is not able to regenerate missing limbs or organs. Thanks to his regenerative power he is more resistant to the effects of alcohol and drugs. It is unknown if the power slows down aging process.

Abilities

Gifted Intellect: Peter Parker is an exceptionally smart science enthusiast, capable of inventing and constructing his own web-shooters and using the laws of physics to his advantage in a battle as Spider-Man. Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Spider-Man is a relatively skilled fighter at both close and long distances. However, he does not seem to be skilled in martial arts, and instead fights instinctively. He emphasizes the use of his speed, agility and his spider webs, which he uses as a non-lethal weapon.

Strength level

Spider-Man's strength has been significantly enhanced, allowing him to engage opponents as strong as the batman or captain america in battle.

Weaknesses

Due to his enhanced senses, Peter uses goggles in his original suit to filter out information from the world around him to a more tolerable degree, with the lenses in his new costume helping him maintain this level for control.

Paraphernalia

Equipment: Parker originally wore a handmade suit while operating on the streets of Gotham. Nothing more than a red and blue sweat shirt, blue sweatpants, and a pair of goggles, this suit was created with the intention to help Parker to conceal his identity and keep his superhuman senses in check. Parker would later use an upgraded and more refined suit designed by Lucius fox to better focus his superhuman senses. The new suit also included moving eyepieces that resemble camera shutters to filter out stimuli while in use.

Utility Belt: The suit has a utility belt seamlessly integrated into it. It contains spare web fluid cartridges for Spider-Man's Web-Shooters.
Transportation: None known.
Weapons: None known.
