While in space, still exploring the limitations of his ring, John Stewart stumbled upon something terrible. A long, black creature, evil grin spread across it face as it spotted him. It had branch like things sprouting from it, no hands, arms, legs, or feet. It was the most terrfying creature John had ever seen. When it looked at him it screamed.
"AKU!" the demon screamed. It looked as if A giant tree had become darkand possessed by an evil spirit.
"Wh-What are you? And why are you here? Answer me, or face the power of the Green Lantern Corps demon!" John Stewart screamed.
"Little man, you are of no importance to me. I own and rule this universe and everything in it belongs to me. Be Gone." Aku said bored, just before bending over, bringing his face right next to John Stewart, and burning him to a crisp with his fire breathe.
"I can see there are many more like him in this universe, with a more varried array of powers. These beings, especially the Kryptonian, can actually pose a threat to me, I must make myself unnoticed, perhaps a human form." Aku suggested to himself out loud.
Meanwhile back in a burned down city, whose sign read Townsville, a Samurai on his knees was sobbing, shirt torn completely off, and his blade was on the ground beside him, covered in blood.
"How? How could I let the demon escape me again? As long as I still breathe, he shall harm no other. I will slay the demon once and for all." said Samurai Jack, getting to his feet, wiping his tears, and picking up his blade. As he looked toward the sky he screamed "AKUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" He said before leaping to try and find the monster.
