History[]

Tim Jackson Drake (born August, 1997) is the only child of wealthy industrialists, entrepreneurs, and businesspeople Jack Drake and his wife, Janet Drake. All of whom where there at Haly's Circus the night Richard Graysons' parents lost their lives. An incident that made an everlasting impression on the young Tim, in more ways than one.

Namely because years later he noticed the unique acrobatics that Robin used. Which reminded him of the Flying Grayson performance. He also noticed that Robin first appeared as Batman's sidekick shortly after Bruce Wayne adopted Dick Grayson. So with that, and several other clues he noticed, Tim managed to deduce the true identities of Batman and Robin. But even though he did he decided to keep this information to himself, since he actually believed in the Bat family's mission. For Tim was a genius, who understood and had opinions on concepts and ideas far beyond his years. A trait that served him well after his parents suddenly died in a plane crash and he was shipped off to the boarding school Brentwood Academy, without hardly any time passing for his parents bodies to get cold. Finding this highly suspicious Time escaped the academy, returned to Gotham, and began looking into his parents' death, discovering their plane crash was not an accident at all. But rather it was all orchestrated by their COO (Chief Operations Officer) Phil Marin. Who had been embezzling from Drake Industries for years and had already massed millions. But he wanted so much more. So he got rid of Tims' parents, and made sure he was put in charge of everything regarding the young Drake heir until he came of age. So he could continued his illegal activities without any more interruptions. Finding all this out Tim didn't hesitate to expose Phils' crimes. Leading him to being arrested. Though that now led to another problem for the young Timothy. He was now the heir to a powerful corporation with no legal guardian. Making him a prime target for more people like Phil Marin. Faced with this Tim began devising a plan to protect himself and the company his parents had spent their lives building. But before he could move forward with anything he learned that the second Robin, which he had identified long ago as Jason Todd, had died. Along with the fact Batman was becoming ever more brutal against criminals since it occurred. Seeing this, and given his feelings towards the Dark Knight, Tim decided he could not just sit back and watch such events transpire.

With that in mind he first payed a visit to Dick Grayson, revealing to him all he knew about his identity and those of the other members of the Bat Clan. He then tried to convince Dick to return to Bruce's side. Since Tim surmised Batman was better with a Robin than without now. This deduction and reasoning impressed Dick, but he refused Tim suggestion. Faced with this Tim took it upon himself to visit Bruce personally and make a suggestion that he become his new Robin. A suggestion Bruce flat out denied. However when Batman and Nightwing found themselves captured by Two-Face Tim decided the time for talking was over, and instead it was the time for action. So with the help of Alfred he donned the Robin costume and rescued the first dynamic duo. Impressed by Tim's actions Bruce changed his mind and not only agreed to allow him to become his sidekick but also adopted him as his son. Thus the third Robin was born.
