So, If you have looked at my Batman: The Dark Jedi Knight Vol 1 1, you will notice that I am doing a sort of crossover
between Star Wars and Batman. In my opinion they are the two best ongoing stories of all time. So there are a couple things you should know.
It's an Elseworlds story not a crossover[]
Contrary to the title of this page it is an elseworld's story not a crossover. Which means it will be a retelling of Batman's story set in the Star Wars universe.
It is an ongoing series unlike most Elseworlds stories[]
Most Elseworld stories are just one shots or limited series at best. Let alone an entire ongoing series. Most also don't push the envelope beyond the origin and first conflict of his. I'm not saying this is bad, but I am saying that it would be cooler to see an ongoing series about Batman and Star Wars.
Batman kills.... Kind of a lot[]
One thing Batman has in common with the Jedi is that he never kills if he can help it. So to exemplify the bond between him and the Jedi he will kill the heck out of his enemies. The reason I write this is because he is a renegade vigilante Jedi. Anything less wouldn't be Batman. So the killing thing is done mainly to stretch the differences.
Alfred is a retired Jedi[]
In the story, when Batman's mentor is severly injured at Geonosis, he annihilates an entire colony of Geonosians. He then quits the Jedi order. When he finds out his parents death wasn't an accident, he wishes to bring down the killer. Since he left the order, he needs a new lightsaber and trainer. He then finds out that his slave (yes, slave) Alfred used to be a Jedi. Since Alfred is his slave, the relationship is rocky at first, but it will smooth out over time.
The Joker is a robot[]
I'm not going to say much at this point, but the Joker is an experimental robot named J0-K3R. He will be incredibly dangerous.
Penguin is a Hutt[]
The Penguin is a Hutt crime lord. That is known for his brutality and obssession with the mythical penguin creature.
